Goldene Ananas

“Pückler” was a lover of pineapples. In the greenhouses of the palace nursery, he grew the rare and exotic fruits. Today there is a large, golden pineapple on the top of the domed house.

In the “Pückler Café Goldene Ananas” you can enjoy “Pückler’s” favorite dishes in the idyllic garden with a view of the river and the renovated “Blue House”.
Here you will find regional food and drinks – from the popular buttermilk pancakes or the homemade “Fürst-Pückler ice cream”, to delicious cakes or sheet cakes and hearty snacks – there is something for every taste.

You can also celebrate in this “princely green living room”, whether it is a company event, bus group, conference, wedding, catering or family celebration. Whether as a menu or buffet, the regional and seasonal cuisine of the Spree-Waldhotel Cottbus equips your celebration with the finest dishes.

The “Golden Pineapple” is open to you daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from mid-May to the end of September. The café is closed during the winter months, when the greenhouse fulfills its name and is home to numerous plants.
